Find physical items in Torreyson Library.
First, Discovery is a library catalog with information about the physical resources and materials available in the library. This includes everything from books to DVDs to musical scores and much more.
Within Discovery, you can see a description of the item, where an item is located in the library, and if they are available for checkout. You can also Place a Hold on items in the library's main stacks, and the item will be pulled for you.
Find electronic library resources.
In addition to the library's physical resources, Discovery also allows you to search for the library's electronic resources, including ebooks, online journals, and articles. If you have a citation, Discovery provides a quick way to check to see if the library has access to an article or resource and links you to the content. It also provides a broad look at resources available on a specific topic or subject.

Discovery can open up your search beyond items available at Torreyson Library to see what resources are available at other libraries. If you are doing a comprehensive search on a topic or trying to find a book the library does not own, you can expand your search to Libraries Worldwide. Discovery also allows you to easily request items you are interested in through our Interlibrary Loan service.
