Question

How do I pick up “physical” ILL materials borrowed from other libraries, such as books?

When physical ILL items such as books or DVDs are ready for your use, you will receive an email with pickup instructions. You may check out items in person at the Circulation Desk.

In some cases, a lending library will designate the item as Library Use Only, which means it may not leave the building. You may check these items out at the Circulation Desk during the library’s open hours. Please hand Library Use Only items to Circulation Staff after each use so they can check items back in. If the item is microfilm or microfiche, you may schedule an appointment to use the Microforms Room. Otherwise, the room is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will hold onto Library Use Only items until you ask us to return them or until the due date marked on the material.

Please Note: Items not picked up within five working days of email notification may be returned by the ILL Office. Please reply to the pickup email to arrange a different pickup date or method.
