Question

How do I print in the library?

Printing in the library costs 5¢ per page for black and white and 50¢ for color. Printing is available from any library desktops and circulating laptops. Printing is not available from personal laptops or devices.

  1. Log into the computer. You can select any open computer in the lab or check out a laptop from the front desk. Log in using your UCA credentials, the same used for Blackboard, myUCA, and email.
  2. Access the document you need to print. If the document is on your personal device, you can upload it to Google Drive or email it to yourself.
  3. Send the document to the printer. Open the document and select Print. Check settings in Printing Properties, i.e., paper orientation, 1- or 2-sided printing, and page size. Select printer as Library Black&White and click Print.
  4. Enter your BearCard number. A box will pop up; enter your 9-digit BearCard number* and select Enter.
  5. Find an open library print station. The black and white stations are labeled 1, 2, and 3 and the library color print station is labeled 4.
  6. Tap, print, and take your documents. Tap your BearCard on the card reader, select your print jobs, and click Submit.

*For instructions on finding your BearCard number on a mobile device, see How to Display your BearCard Mobile on the BearCard website.
